hallee the comedian....

so this last saturday my parents and i went up and stayed in a hotel so that we could go to my cousin chase's farewell on sunday (woo hoo chase!!!). bedtime was a little different for hallee since usually i just put her in her crib and she talks and sings to herself until she falls asleep. well, saturday she got to sleep in the bed with me, with gramma and grampie in the bed next to us. so we turn the lights out and i tuck her in... she's quiet for a minute or two and then....she starts giggling and wanting to play games....meanwhile i am trying to cover my face so she can't tell that i am laughing at her (i didn't want to indulge her :) ) . Pretty soon she realizes that she isn't getting much of a reaction from me so she starts sitting on my face, pulling my hair and sayin 'MOMMY!!! MOMMY!!!' my parents and i busted out laughing! we definately should not have done that because it only encouraged her more! after a while of her being funny i tried being serious again and told her it was time for bed. i laid her down again and for a couple more minutes all was quiet, until she started laughing her little head off! so this time i was stern (although i was dying of laughter inside!!!) and told her she was going to go into time out. this just made her laugh even harder... so i tried a couple other things and they too only made her laugh harder. so i finally said to her, 'hallee, if you don't go to sleep i am going to spank your butt!'....so what does she do??? turns around and spanks it for me. lol it was a long night........
