halloween cookies

i decided that it would be fun for me and hallee to make some halloween cookies... it was-for about 10 minutes!! by then hallee had made a huge mess and was bored lol. i however, was up all damn night frosting cookies!!!

pumpkin walk

here are some pictures of the pumpkin walk 2008!!! hallee and jettsen looked so stinkin cute all bundled up but poor little jett fell asleep just a few minutes into it so noelle and jason raced through the rest of it. i stayed with hallee, grams, and heather, taylor, & dawson. it was really cute. i can't believe how much time goes into putting that together! hallee was so funny, she just kept pointing at pumpkin after pumpkin going 'PUMPIN! PUMPIN!'...

so this last saturday my parents and i went up and stayed in a hotel so that we could go to my cousin chase's farewell on sunday (woo hoo chase!!!). bedtime was a little different for hallee since usually i just put her in her crib and she talks and sings to herself until she falls asleep. well, saturday she got to sleep in the bed with me, with gramma and grampie in the bed next to us. so we turn the lights out and i tuck her in... she's quiet for a minute or two and then....she starts giggling and wanting to play games....meanwhile i am trying to cover my face so she can't tell that i am laughing at her (i didn't want to indulge her :) ) . Pretty soon she realizes that she isn't getting much of a reaction from me so she starts sitting on my face, pulling my hair and sayin 'MOMMY!!! MOMMY!!!' my parents and i busted out laughing! we definately should not have done that because it only encouraged her more! after a while of her being funny i tried being serious again and told her it was time for bed. i laid her down again and for a couple more minutes all was quiet, until she started laughing her little head off! so this time i was stern (although i was dying of laughter inside!!!) and told her she was going to go into time out. this just made her laugh even harder... so i tried a couple other things and they too only made her laugh harder. so i finally said to her, 'hallee, if you don't go to sleep i am going to spank your butt!'....so what does she do??? turns around and spanks it for me. lol it was a long night........

Pony rides at Kurt's house

So my mom's boss Kurt has a little farm out in Young Ward and recently he went out and stayed with the Amish people. He has a couple of friends who are Amish so he goes and visits once a year. This year he bought some horses and brought them back. One is the big black horse that his little boy Keith is riding in this first picture. This horse is so massive! His back is 6 feet tall! One of the other horses that he brought back is a full grown Shetlan pony... he is so cute!!! He only is about 3 feet tall and just about as much wide :) So Kurt invited us out so that the girls could ride the ponies and here are our pictures from that:

Hallee and Shelby LOVED this little pool! The water was super cold so they could only stay in it for a little bit at a time, and they never wanted to sit down, but they had a good time.

Some of the boys went and bought some tattoos so we had a little fun putting them on the girls... if only i had the picture of the one on coppelia's belly!

Ya, she's bad, she knows it lol... I'm not a very good tattoo artist, I couldn't even get the sticker on straight!

I had to put this picture in!!! Shelby is the queen of wedgies... doesn't matter if its swimsuit, diaper, or panties... she's got the permawedge :) cute little butt though!

Camping Trip

So I haven't updated for a bit so I thought I would post some newer pics to let you know what we have been up to! These first ones are from the camping trip that my mom wrecked during.... just pictures of the girls though!!!

Hallee and Shelby were so funny, they each got a cup from the campsite and walked along the path looking for and digging up rocks. It's amazing what will keep kids entertained for hours!!!

Party for Olivia

Okay everyone! So we have decided that it is too hard during the holidays to find a good weekend to have a party for all of you to come and meet this sweet little baby girl-so......we have decided that we are not going to have the party like planned :( sorry! However, we will be sending birth announcements out soon so be on the lookout for them. And please feel welcome to come and meet Cort & Coppelia's new addition when it is convenient for you!!!

BABY OLIVIA

Baby Olivia is here!!! She was born Oct 2, 2008 @11:32 am. She weighs 7 lb 8 oz and is 19 in long... We will be having a party for you all to meet her on the 1st of November but I am sure you are all welcome to come visit sooner if you like. Invititations will be sent out probably in a week or so!
